I acquired this instrument recently at an auction

This is an instrument that I recently acquired at an auction. It was love at first sight. I had no idea what it was, but I knew it looked old. I brought it home and started doing research and the closest I could come was some sort of dulcimer. Another group has told me it’s a relative of the dulcimer called a Hungarian Citear. Any help or insight on this instrument would be so helpful to me. Also, I am
