Hi Dawn, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Greetings!
That is a very cool old box instrument... might even be historically significant.
I suggest you JOIN the following Group here:
https://fotmd.com/strumelia/group/14/dulcimer-ancestors  and then create a new thread/post there about your instrument... it's quite unique and of interest to folks here who are into the musical ancestors of the mountain dulcimer.
Note that you will only see the full content of threads in special interest Groups if you JOIN a 'group' here on fotmd. Joining a Group is easy with a click, as is UNjoining it.
Aside from Groups we have here for special interests, there are many Forums you can read and post in as well- click on the main link for FORUMS to see various subject categories. We even have a Forum just for questions about navigating and using the site!: https://fotmd.com/forums/forum/site-questions-how-do-i
Again- welcome!

I hope you can receive the photo I sent. It is old and definitely needs repaired.
