I just squared up a cedar fence post from my father-in-law's farm. I was planing to book matcha pair of 1/8" slabs for a topand/or bottom. Has anyone ever made a whole dulcimer out of cedar (i.e., sides too)? I'll use a piece of walnut or cherry for the fretboard and peg head.
