A big pain !

Hi All

Ive been putting my McSpadden dulcimer kit together, the instructions had me to glue the fretboard to the top, then glue fretboard and top to the sides. Then it had me to glue on the back, this was a big pain.

Looks to me like it would have been a lot easer to glue the back and the top on first, then the fretboard. There must be a better way, I would like to make one from scratch the next time. For those of you who make your own dulcimers in what order do you go by?
