Hi Everyone

I need a little help, I have some wood that came from Folkcraft, its for the sound board and the back of a hourglass dulcimer that Im gone to make. The wood on average is a thickness of .131 thousands, I have a planer, should I plane it down some? If yes what thickness should I plane it down to?
