The Outcome Of Planning Wood Down To 1/8"

Hi Everyone

In a previous post, I ask about planning wood down to .125 ( 1/8) I was told not to do it that the wood would blowup.

I have a new Dewalt 735X 13" three knife, two speed thickness planer, so I tried it anyway. I ripped a cherry board down to 1 wide x 3/16 thick, I planed it down to a 1/8 without any problem at all.

I just thought you all might like to hear the outcome, the next ones I rip, I will cut them to 5/32 before planning them.
