Snark tuner fragility: has this ever happened to you?

Hi, I have a clip on red Snark tuner and love it, but I noticed yesterday that one of the little clasps is broken. The clasps hold the head of the tuner to the stem, so you can rotate it. It's not completely broken off but that's only a matter of time. The tuner was always kept in the dulcimer case, guess it was at a bad angle. Anyway, I can't superglue it, because then the head won't rotate. All I can think for now is a rubber band to support it. It's one of those little annoying things!
