Welcome Tjcox5 to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. This is a great place with wonderful people of the dulcimer. Hope you can learn a lot. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
I would like to thank everyone for the warm welcomes. Looking forward to absorbing as much information as possible from all the everyone here. As a way of interdiction I've been playing for about 15 years and have 4 mountain dulcimers, a Yocky, 2 Cripple Creeks (one I built from a kit) and a Hughes Church 6 string that I'm not using. I also have a Bowed Psaltry I'm trying to learn and an old Autoharp I'm restoring and then hope to figure out. My wife has 2 Hammered Dulcimers. We play in an informal group we call Strings 'n Things. We play at assisted living places a couple times a month and a few other gigs as they come up.
Hi TJ., and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
