I'm new to the world of mountain dulcimers but fell in love with their sound and aesthetic when I visited Warren May's shop in Berea, KY, which is about twenty minutes from my family farm in Rockcastle County, KY. I've been restoring fiddles for about a year and am now diving into building instruments by building a mountain dulcimer. I play fiddle, guitar, and mandolin and love Appalachian history, music, and culture.
