I am a long time guitar player who recently has discovered the dulcimer. I am very much a novice player at this time, but wish to play better. I am also drawn by the romance of this instrument, and want to partake of the tradition of building of dulcimers.

There a number of folks here who know a lot of the history of the mountain dulcimer. You have come to the correct place.
