Hi Cyndy and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
@Cyndy-j: Lol! That little fellow's name is 'Cooper'. He is a rescue. Until someone contacted me and asked whether I would be willing to foster him, I had no idea what a Pionus was. He has been here for several years now and has wormed his way into the family and into our hearts. He is a little hoople, and sometimes he can be cantankerous and curmudgeonly (Like the other guy in the photo!), like when we stepped up, twisted his head to look down at my hand, said "Ouch!" and then BIT me!! :)
I love him. His favorite song right now is "Jiya Jaye" from the TV series "Match Made in Heaven". He sings, and dances and absolutely loves it. He *THINKS* that he knows all of the lyrics... we let him believe what he likes.
Welcome Cindy J to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. This is a wonderful community of helpful folks. Look around, join the discussions, ask questions and share your expertise with us.

Welcome aboard Cyndy. I've tried a feather with limited success. Glad it's working for you.
