Hi Newbie, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben

Hey Desnewbie, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us. My first dulcimer was a kit from Cripple Creek also. I got back in 07. When I ordered mine, they cut the sound holes for me.Hope you can get an answer from the group so you can finish your kit. That was first and only build, so I really can't help you out that much. If you go to my home page you can see my dulcimers. Old Reliable, (my Cripple Creek) is on the left in the picture.

Welcome to FOTMD Desnewbie. It is good to have you aboard. I look forward to your participation in these discussions. Didn't know my MDiv could be that versatile. Feel free to ask any questions you have about building dulcimers. I've been on this journey since 1971 and built my first dulcimer in 1974.
