I'm in my late 50s, played drums, piano, and a little guitar most of  my life.  My dad gave me his dulcimer and I'm trying to learn about it, which is how I found this site.

Hi,

Reading an older post of yours, did you ever contact Bob Lazenby about your Dulcimer? I just picked up one of his and was thinking of adding the 6+ fret - so many on FOTMD said to leave as is but I do plan to play it and thed group I play with, I would need it.

Hi Dewey, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Ben
