I am a "domestic engineer" at present. I have worked 20+ years in the nursery and garden business. Everything from retail/customer service to landscape design was my job. I am a graduate from college with an MFA (master fine arts), and have an MRE (master religious education).
I no longer work outside the home. I cared for an ailing mother and uncle several years. I have Multiple Sclerosis. When I'm not spinning (fiber), painting (watercolor) or attempting to learn banjo songs, I'm doing the housewifely thing.
I am a confessional Lutheran.
I love to chat, and I love my cat.

Greetings from Vermont Fluidpaint and welcome to the site. Lots of chatters here - look for Oliver on the chat line who I affectionately call 007 for some reason. Bad instruments don't help much, glad you lucked out on that McSpadden. Can't go wrong with those. Have fun here - I paint too, and with watercolors. Sure hope you post some of your pics.
Hey Fluidpaint, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Hi Fluidpaint, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Thank you so much! Looking forward to it!
Welcome, Fluidpaint, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Hope you enjoy it here.
