Warren May traditional dulcimer in beautifully bookmatched cherry. VSL is 26-7/16 inches. It’s number 5969, built in January 1991. The cherry top is thinner than that of my later hourdrop model. It’s a relatively light dulcimer and reminds me of Homer Ledford instruments. It would not make a particularly good DAdd instrument due to the fret spacing likely being optimized for 155 tuning. I’ve hesitated to post this one for fear someone will add geared tuners and more frets, but I have to let go of that. It plays beautifully in traditional noter-drone style. The tuning pegs work well for someone at all familiar with wooden pegs. The instrument is in like-new condition. Price is $300.
