Really nice dulcimer built in 1989 by Robert Mize who was featured in the Foxfire 3 book. I’m pretty sure the body is cherry, but I’m unsure of the top wood. The VSL is 26-1/4 inches with a zero-fret and original 6+ fret. It can be strung up with paired melody strings or four equidistant. The wooden pegs work well; easily converted to geared pegs if desired. The condition is excellent except for a small area on the lower bout (shown in the photos) where the overhanging violin-style top had a nick in it that was subsequently blended into the edge. Plays beautifully. The price is $250.
