Good morning GNelson,

We are the Preston Pluckers and we meet at the Tye Preston Memorial library in Canyon Lake, TX which is super close to FIMFO (ride the alpine roller coaster, it is a blast!!) but about an hour out from Austin. We meet the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 to noon. As far as music, I normally provide 2 new songs a month based on a theme (of course, Irish tunes for March) and I curate a nice collection of tab that we can choose from to jam that I store on Google Drive. If you'd like to become an honorary Plucker, we'd be happy to have you. I'll attach our March newsletter when I get it done. Let me know if I missed anything.

Hi Nelson, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome to FOTMD, Nelson. It's good to have you aboard. Enjoy your travels. I hope you can find dulcimer groups to play with along the way.

Ken

Welcome GNelson to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. We are glad you joined. Hope you can find a group. You may want to start a discussion with some information about where you will be traveling. Not a lot of folks look at your initial post. If you have questions be sure to ask.
