I’m visiting family in Austin and Dripping Springs early March 2025. Will be at Horseshoe ridge rv resort and some Rv resort in Buda March 6-11, 2025. Next year will camp at FIMFO New Braunfels. Would LOVE to play with some other dulcis. Brownsville is a wasteland. Will be good to meet up in your area! Ay info for me?
So far, you two are it. I started my own dulcimer group in Canyon Lake through the library near where I live. We meet twice a month and the library has been great exposure for the instrument. Sometimes we are even invited to play for library events.
I would enjoy making contact with dulcimer players in the Waco, Texas area. Thanks!
Did you ever find any jammers around Waco?? I am looking for some.

Hi Msdeebee, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Welcome to FOTMD Msdeebee. It's good to have you aboard. I hope you are able to help your friend find some folks to play with. Richard offered the advice I would have offered.
