Hi Jeff, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the duclimer, and meet some good people.
Welcome jeffb957 to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Great to have you join. I see some of our members have already reached out to you about a local club. Be sure to ask questions as they come up. Best wishes on your dulcimer journey.
Jeff, I am a member of the Athens Dulcimer Club and as Ken said I do the newsletter as well as the webpage. I understand you may not be able to make the regular jams but like Ken said I'm sure you can meet with some of us at other times, I'd be happy to.
How long have you been playing? Our founders give free lessons in Athens and those could be arranged on your schedule.
Don't let the time of the group gathering discourage you. Make contact with them and you may find someone willing to meet you outside of the group meetings to help you along.
Welcome to FOTMD Jeff. It's good to have you aboard. Are you a member of the Athens Dulcimer Club? Let us know if you have any questions. I look forward to your participation here.
Hey Jeff, welcome aboard. Glad ya found us.

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome. I wasn't aware there was a dulcimer club in Athens. I'd appreciate any information you might have about it though 🙂
