My other dulcimer has the 6 1/2 and 13 1/2 frets and I keep it tuned to DAA. I tune this one DAD and I haven't really missed the extra frets...although my playing style is different on this Dulcimer.
Very good, John. Nice song, nicely played. I also not you're playing a pure diatonic instrument with no half frets. Hopefully this will encourage others who have this type instrument not to wish they had more frets, but rather to consider how to play what they "hear" on it. Keep up the good "work!"
