Thanks so much for your feedback, Terry! I'm so glad my book is such a help to you. When I wrote Beyond the Basics I thought of folks who were, for whatever reason, away from teachers, workshops, etc. I wanted to include enough information with the music so that the student could continually move forward in their playing and understanding.
My journey began with the dulcimer began 04/01/2002. I purchased "Beyond the Basics", from LInda, 07/2012. I've purchased at least 6 instruction books since then, but Linda's remarkable book has been my go to book as I have progressed along. There is no other book out there quite like Beyond The Basics. I refer to it constantly. Here it is 02/27/2015, 06:20pm, and in around 10 min. I'll be studying her lessons once again, just like I did last night.
Thank you Linda for sharing your experience. It's been a great ride, and I don't see an end. I'll always feel a need to "get better".
You are so welcome, Linda. Hopefully one day I'll come out of the woods and join in one of your jams.
