The frame is doubled up 1x2`s with the headstock half lapped at the end of each neck, with titebond woodglue then cabinet screws on each lap joint. I made sure it wasn`t going to come apart after deciding on the 11 strings that are going to be used on it. I`ve been building homemade stringed instruments going on 35 years now...I make sure the necks don`t come apart from tension of the strings.
