Dulcimer Build #5....mini

Just finished making my 5th dulcimer. I wanted to experiment and design a mini dulcimer. This one has an Ebaria Gabon top and bottom with cherry sides, fretboard and peg head with a 22" scale. I've just disassembled a cherry teardrop and am in the process of remaking it into a mini also. Repurposed dulcimers...what fun!!!!!!

I would love  to hear input from all you builders as to how to make wooden pegs that don't take a week to make and destroy my hands!!!! I've got a peg shaper, reamer but there has to be an easier way to make them than I'm doing!
