How Do You Sign Your MD?

I am getting close to gluing on the bottom of my first build. The top will be ready shortly after that.

How do other builders sign their instruments? Pen or sharpie? Wood burning? Paint?

What about your own label?

Obviously it should be some method that won’t fade over time.

The dulcimer that I bought looks as though the builder signed it in pencil.

Also, besides your name, what other information do you include?
