Things Were Going Okay.... Then This!!!

I glued on the bottom last night, which is a two piece bookmatched black walnut. It seemed flat enough when I glued it. Late this afternoon I removed the clamps to discover that the bottom is bowed out. It won't even sit level on a table. Is this something that can be fixed??  I thought about wetting the bottom, place it bottom down on my workbench, and then clamping the end blocks for a week or two. Is there another fix for this problem?

Note: This is my first MD build, and I knew there would be hurdles to overcome. I am reaching out to the more experienced builders here for a possible solution.
