Yesterday I asked question in chat room it anyone ever heard of a lap steel dulcimer. lol Today I googled playing dulcimer like a steel guitar because I saw Cyndi Lauper playing one that way. Here is one of the videos that came up. It's a dulcimer/steel guitar hybrid.
