Mc Spadden or Sweet Woods?
Hello, kind reader(s),I'm considering instruments to get back into playing dulcimer. A few years ago I played an all-walnut Mc Spadden teardrop which I liked. I find I prefer the sound of teardrop over hourglass instruments. Having read recent recomendations for the Sweet Woods beginner instrument, I looked at his website and saw that he builds nicer teardrop instruments too.So, kind reader, if you were considering such a purchase, which maker would you tend to favor? Or is there someone else I should consider? Why?Shopping for dulcimers here in Tokyo is not easy. Thanks in advance.John in Tokyo
