Wow Tom! All that building sounds awesome! I first heard.of a dulcimer in 2009. I was looking for a new instrument to learn. Looked online and somehow came across it. So I've been playing four years in March. Just went through the process of learning to build last year. Maybe sometime we can get together and play a little. Id like to see your work and your shop.
Cool! So, sort of in the CBN area? Well, the pictures on my page are the first build I've been a part of. I didn't do most of it - a gentleman named Bert Berry was teaching a couple of us how to build. he did the bulk of the construction and I did the finishing. BUT I have some plans for the next build in a couple of weeks or sooner!
Hi Tom, and welcome to the world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Hey Tom! Welcome to FOMD! Which section of VB are you in? There are a couple of players out this way (Creeds/Pungo area).
"Whole Lotta Love" would work much better!
I don't have one, but I've been around them all my life. We actually raised Boston Terriers when I was growing up.
A catahoula is a great dog...goofy as can be, but loyal and VERY spoil-able lol!
Howdy and welcome to FOTMD!
Hello and welcome to the site. This is a great place to share ideas and listen to music. I hope you enjoy!
Welcome, Tom, to this little corner of dulcimer heaven. Hope you enjoy it here.
