Stats

Well, I am a husband and father of 1, machine operator, children's church director, and native east Texan. My favorite things in life are serving my Lord Jesus Christ, spending time with my family, good food, good music, and sleep.

I played the trumpet in high school band, and recently took up bass for church. I took both piano and guitar lessons as a kid, but regrettably, didn't stick with it. I have also dabbled with mandolin and harmonica over the years. I first discovered the dulcimer through a christmas tape my family had as a kid, but knew nothing about where I could even see one in person, let alone purchase one or get lessons. By the time internet took over the world, I had pretty much dismissed my dulcimer interests....until 2016, when I went on vacation to Branson and walked into Cedar Creek Dulcimers. Being a big Rich Mullins fan, I went in to look at hammered dulcimers, but started picking around on a mountain dulcimer instead, and that was all she wrote. I was hooked.
