Thanks for the info. It's completely effective as a bass line. Sounds like a regular electric bass.

yeah, the bass line is actually 2 octaves down, via the EHX HOG. Typically, I do 1 octave down on the guitar, but in this case, I actually did it on the electric dulcimer. The lowered signal is essentially run through a bass-amp setup.
