A coupe of old-time tunes, messed up like I like to do sometimes. I was told that Elzic's was a Jay Ungar tune, it isn't. Tho' if i had heard Norman Blake's Version first, I would have never recorded it at all.
Strumelia: BTW- not sure if it's true or not, but I've read that the term 'greasy coat' was what people sometimes called travelling trappers. They would carry scraped hides in a tied bunch slung over their shoulders and the fat from the skins left grease all over the backs of their coats.
That would be the least salacious definition of the term I've heard. Tho' I do like the lyric, "I don't smoke and I don't chew and I don't go with girls that do!"
I like the energy and tempo of this medley Butch- nice job! I also chuckled at your kitty's 'greasy coat' pic. ;D

This is superb, Butch! Really nice pair of tunes that work well together. You really get cranking here.
What a great sound, instrument combination and playing, Butch!
yeah, I've been trying to get dulcimer and guitar to play well together for about 10 years now. This one is by Jerry Rockwell.
