Hi Folks,
I'm reducing my asking price to $300 or best offer. It's an opportunity to get a special instrument for a very reasonable price.

Lucky made very nice traditional sounding dulcimers. I think the six string model has a 29 inch VSL which is great for noter style playing. I had one in my shop for repair that been knocked over and the peg head broke off. I reattached it for the owner who was pleased to be able to play it again. Whoever buys it will get a nice instrument.

"The dulcimer sings a sweet song."
That is a beautiful dulcimer. I sure hope it goes to a good home where it will be valued and played.
My father bought this dulcimer for my mother in the 1970s from Lucky & Louise Diamond in Silver Spring, Maryland. Sadly, she never learned to play it, but she was touched by the gift anyway. Now, nearly 50 years later (where does the time go?), my parents are gone, and I want this beautiful instrument to find a new home, preferably with someone who plays it.
It needs strings, but is otherwise in good condition, as far as I can tell. Asking $400 plus shipping. Local pickup in the Asheville NC area is also an option.
