Just saw this on Facebook from @ClassicFM:

My goldfish are named Major, Minor, Dorian, Lydian, and Diminished.  The only way I can tell them apart is by their scales.

To which I added that on the Mountain Dulcimer we also have Ionian and Mixolydian.

Woops I forgot poor old sorrowful Aeolian.
