NOTE that if you choose to not receive 'any' site notifications, then you WON'T be notified if someone:

Sends you a private message... 'likes' one of your items.... 'follows' you...  posts in one of your discussion threads.... comments on your profile page... asks you a question about your item or your post... mentions your name in one of their posts... makes a new post in a discussion or group you are 'following'... signs your guestbook... comments on one of your photos, videos, soundclips, etc etc...

In other words, you won't know if  anything  is posted or sent concerning you or your site activities and items.

To change message status, hover your mouse over your name on the upper right side of your page. This will bring down a drop down box.  Click open "Account Settings"

On the upper left side of the "Account Settings" page you wiil see a tab labeled "Notifications" Click that open and you will be able to make your changes to how you wish to receive or not receive messages.

Be sure to click on "Save Changes" when you are finished making your selections

Do you want to receive site email notifications when someone comments on one of your items, or sends you a private message?  Do you want to adjust or choose the types of notifications you receive from FOTMD?  This is done in your Account Settings, in the Notifications TAB.
