Aw, thanks, Irene! Sammamish is a suburb of Seattle, WA. I've not been to a "real" dulcimer class--ever. Started playing that cardboard dulcimer 2 years ago, mainly by watching Bing Futch and Jessica Comeau YouTube videos. Then bought a Bing Futch book...then more recently have been in the live Zoom workshops Jessica's been doing. I have one later today, in fact! I've learned a lot, despite it not being in person. For me, it's actually a little less intimidating than being in person, LOL. And no need to fight what is normally horrible traffic in this neck of the woods. I am plenty happy working from home--didn't like my commute, anyway. But I am also very much looking forward to the end of this COVID, to feeling safe again, and to being able to get out on our beloved roadtrips--including to Canada! We do a lot of photography on those trips, just wander. They're great and we miss them horribly!
This was so fun to see all your dulcimers and to hear you play and you are quite an amazing woman. Where is Location: Sammamiish County? In what state? I hope this covid stupid stuff gets gone so we all can get back to going to festivals and meeting folks and learning sitting next to someone. Nothing like the real deal of learning in a real class. aloha, irene
