Yes, I found Mandy Tyner's posting very detailed and interesting. Would be tempted to order Mandy's fretboard from backyardmusic.com but the international shipping charges plus exchange rates make it very difficult.  I enjoy her BanjoLemonade videos on YouTube. MERRY XMAS.

SNAP!  Co-incidentally last evening I found this one, very comprehensive and well illustrated Article by one of my favourite YouTube subscribers.  Hope she is safe and well -and you too- given the cataclysmic storms in USA.

Hi Shelton, and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer.  It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.

Thank you. That will be a big help.  From memory about 3 pages in length, in the chapter  entitled "Crafting a Mountain Dulcimer". Perhaps you could attach it.  With your experience building TMBs do you favour Zither tuning pins or do you prefer conventional winding tuners? I appreciate the generosity and kindness of all on this site.  It is very comforting. Not so easy finding others who make simple (or any) dulcimers here  in Oz, other than those on FOTMD.   Best wishes to you and to all readers, wishing all a safe, healthy Festive Season celebrated with family and friends.
