Well she's not only beautiful, she sounds great on your recording. What woods is she made of? Looks like cedar on the front like mine. Also, what strings/string gauges are you using?
Well, I'm two years late in commenting...ha ha....but wanted to say your BL is gorgeous. I just bought one myself and I'm actually rather addicted to the sound! Dusty, this one is in the super model category for sure!!
Well, I'm in love with my Blue Lion and it has no ebony overlay, no rosewood, and no fancy inlay. Yours looks like a supermodel who would never give me the time of day. She's out of my league.
Cedar top and a rosewood body. Melody string is .012, middle is .014 and bass is .024

Supermodel?! Never thought of her that way. She seems quite happy hanging out with me and my cats.
The custom inlay was an indulgence on my part. Rather than giving in to DAD (dulcimer acquisition disease), I splurged on this one.

Seriously, though, that's a beautiful dulcimer.
It's a standard dulcimer, not a baritone. It has a lovely sound, in part because of the rosewood body.
Wow, Stephanie, that's astonishing. Beautiful instrument.
Nice work! I just started trying my hand at inlay. My first piece was not all tha great!
