Hi Thomas, the message was sent by me to ALL 3000+ members of our site. Sorry if you felt singled out. I sent the reminder to all because from time to time we have members who think it's ok to send ads for things they are selling to everyone on their friends list.
I was reminding everyone that such use is strictly against our rules. I work hard to protect members from unsolicited sales pitches by other members here. If I didn't work at it, then everyone would regularly be receiving sales pitches in their INBOX from other members selling dulcimer stuff. If sending out a reminder to all members once or twice a year helps keep that situation under control, then that's what I'll do. Thanks
