Welcome!
Wow Strumelia, that was totally cool of you to mention my ad. I really appreciate it. If any folks are wandering over here to this thread and are curious and want to see my awesome kiddos in action, click below to see them three years ago doing "I'll Fly Away"

And if you want to see some more rocking action, click below to see us just last March doing Barbara Ann. I don't allow my students to use accompaniment tracks to perform with. If they want to do a song, they have to learn ALL the parts. No computers, no technology. Real people, real music, real instruments!

Tillmanator, you are to be admired for all your musical energy and enthusiasm for teaching! And thank you for supporting FOTMD.
Folks, Tillmanator has just purchased a new Banner Ad in our FOTMD ad slideshow on the site's main page, to promote her project of bringing several mountain dulcimers into her students' school music program. Half of the students at her school are underprivileged and have very limited opportunities to learn music. To take a peek at her site describing the project, just click on her ad.
Welcome to FOTMD. It is a great community of wonderful people. Go glad you joined.
Hi Tillmanator! Glad to see you here! There are a lot of wonderful folks here that are very helpful! You have come to a great place
I'm so excited to join this community! I don't yet own a dulcimer and I know nothing about them. I'm a mandolinist. I teach elementary school in Winder GA and my students can play mandos, guitars, basses and banjo (well, a banjatar). Dulcimers coming soon! I'm hoping to learn a lot here, meet some new people and get great ideas to use in my classroom with my kiddos!
