The Maid(s) of Mourne Shore

(Click on PLUS below for the Presentation in English).

This is my first multi-track attempt, but to appreciate it you have to go to the end of the song, sorry ...
- This traditional Irish tune entitled "The Moorlough Shore" or "The Maid(s) of the Mourne Shore" also serves as music for the poem "Down by the Sally Gardens" by WB Yeats (1889) and is arguably better known as this last title. It is the sad and banal story of a guy who loves a girl who loves another guy ... on the Mourne shore. I put an "s" in parentheses in the title because it is often added but in fact there is only one maid involved in the story.
- The dulcimer (cherry/walnut) is from the "Red Kite" series built by the Hagen family (Branson, MO, USA) and distributed in Europe by Bird Rock Dulcimers ( http://www.dulcimers.co.uk /index.html). Here it is tuned C-G-C' and I am playing in C major. The second voice is inspired by an adaptation for flute and guitar by Ralph Behrens ( https://www.rabe-musik-und-mehr.de). A tablature is available on my blog "Dulcibric-à-brac" ( http://dulcibricabrac.canalblog.com/pages/tablatures/38195578.html).
- The cover photo shows the Mourne River at Strabane in County Tyrone in Northern Ireland, where the song's action is located, and is provided by Ardfern ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Ardfern) under a CC-BY-SA 3.0 license ( https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/deed.en).
- "The lovers on a bench" is a royalty-free photograph from the Pxfuel site ( https://pxfuel.com/en/free-photo-oimnp).
- The final photograph is by Hans Middendorp ( https://www.pexels.com/@hansmiddendorp) at Pexels ( https://www.pexels.com/photo/pollard-willows-3072741/)

Hi Dusty !  You are still fluent in French as I can judge.

As for my style, I'm aware it is not the traditional way of playing the dulcimer but the sweet sound of these simple chords seems so heart moving...

I really like your playing a lot. You don't merely play the simple melody but add a lot of chording and filler licks.  Very nice.
