Paula, I am so sorry! I just got back on fotmd after a looooong absence, and discovered your message from last January! Talk about a slow response! I guess I get the tardy trophy for this one.

I can't remember what we were talking about at that time, and I am currently without access to a phone (it's a long story). I just saw on everything dulcimers (Nov. 2011) you purchase a Sam Carrell dulcimer.

    I just picked up one today and have the same questions you had way back when. How did you string up the dulcimer & what else can you tell be about it. I like mellow tones, can you tell me the best way to go about getting Sam's dulcimer ready to play?
