Hello everyone.  I am a music teacher in Bainville, MT.  I am currently preparing to start a doctorate degree at Boston University.

I dabble in music composition and arranging, which focuses mostly preparing music for my students.  I am primarily a brass player.  However, I am falling in love with bluegrass music and the instruments involved in that genre.  I am learning guitar, banjo, mandolin, and hammered dulcimer, as well as the mountain dulcimer.  However, as I have progressed, I am falling in love with the dulcimers and am beginning to focus more attention on them.

I also enjoy outdoor activities and photography.  I enjoy my dogs and my family.

Welcome Bvmaestro to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. Glad you joined. This is a great community of folks who love the mountain dulcimer. There is so much to learn about the dulcimer. Look around, join in the discussions and make lots of new dulcimer friends. Ask if questions arise. Someone here will be able to help.
