A l'origine un air de "Morris dance" habituellement joué à l'accordéon et au violon, collecté par Cecil Sharp en 1906. Une version plus ancienne du même nom apparaissait dans le "Quaker's Opera" de Thomas Walker en 1728.

Le dulcimer (noyer/cerisier) est de la série Red Kite produite par la famille Hagen (Branson, MO, USA) pour Bird Rock Dulcimers ( http://www.dulcimers.co.uk/11.html). Accordage Do-Sol-Do' (CGc - 1-5-8)
