Between my partner Richard and I we have a LARGE collection of stringed instruments:1) 4 dulcimers ( as pictured) and I would have to choose the Green man dulcimer on the right if I could have only one, as this has greatest sentimental value as he made it for me for my birthday last year January 2009.2) Three five string banjos - my basic starter one which I have kep just for camping trips, and two good ones for clawhammer and bluegrass3) 2 ukuleles - one cheap pink one on my desk at work for musical interludes and one good Koa wood..... ooo and an 1924 Keech banjulele that is awaiting renovation...4) Five acoustic guitars - two entry level, two intermediate quality and one rather super Takemine for performance5) Six electric guitars - two home built, one Fender Jag, one Airline, a stratocaster and a Les Paul copy6) one electric bass guitar7) two fiddles, though neither of us can play (yet.....)So do ya think we collectin' types need therapy??
