Dolly was a genuine and generous person true to her roots in eastern Tennessee. Obviously her talent and outlook on life carried her far in her 80 years. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends. She will be missed. And another person from my birth year departs this Earth too soon.

A beloved musician, actor, businesswoman, and philanthropist has died.  There will never be another Dolly.
