Such terrible sad news. Wayne was incredibly talented and brought so much to our dulcimer community.
My heart goes out to Wayne's family.

I didn't know Wayne, but knew of his influence in the dulcimer community. This is very sad news. My prayer goes out for those who grieve his death and for his wife's recovery.

What a tragedy.  I never met Wayne, but have heard his name in dulcimer circles.  Prayers for his wife's recovery and his family's grief.

Folks,

I have learned musician and dulcimer teacher Wayne Seymour was involved in a fatal traffic accident in North Carolina.  His wife, Lynn, was injured and is in hospital recovering from surgery and injuries sustained in the accident.  Wayne's wishes were to be cremated and it seems there will be a memorial service announced soon.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Wayne yet know many in the mountain dulcimer world crossed paths with him through the years.
