David it is an honor to have you with us here. Thank you for joining!
Your father was a true artist. Indeed, I photographed the beautiful custom dulcimer he made for me in 1997 when I created the logo for Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It is one of only two mtn dulcumers I have ever bought. I have yet to see a dulcimer that I think is more beautiful than the curly maple teardrop your father made for me. I play it regularly, including for a gig just last week. I love how it sounds- so silvery and pure.
I also have two of your father's limberjacks, which I play often as well. I played my beloved limberjack for 2 hours at the big Dance Flurry in Saratoga this weekend. I have a collection of about a dozen limberjacks of all kinds, and your father's is the limberjacks that dances the very best of all of them!
I hope you enjoy our site and have fun being here.

Hey David and welcome to the site. This is a great place to share ideas and listen to music. I hope you enjoy!
Welcome, and I, too, am sorry for your loss. I only met your father once, when he did some repair work on my dulcimer. He was a gracious man.
Yes, Alan Freeman's a monster.
