I guess that means you have a Warren May dulcimer, the sound of his dulcimers are beautiful. I use to live in KY but didn't get a dulcimer till I moved to TX, crazy.
I hope you enjoy your dulcimer and meeting many of the members here, the idea of traveling sounds like a great adventure.
You our are correct I have a Warren May. I can now play a few tunes on it. When I go back to Berea I will have to play for him. I am enjoying my journey of learning and meeting new folks

Glad you took the opportunity to do that. I've spent many hours playing dulcimer in the hills of Virginia and West Virginia. Now I play in the hills of Pennsylvania. Still in Appalachia. Hope your time in NC was beneficial to your dulcimer journey.
Hi H. S., and welcome to the wonderful world of the Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. It's a good place to come, spend some time, learn about the dulcimer, and to meet some good people.
So can anybody help me find some fellow Canadian dulcimer players to play with? I live in Ontario about 2 hours from Toronto. Also I am looking for a pattern to make a quilted instrument bag for my dulcimer. Thanks. Also I would love to decorate my bag with an appliqué image of a dulcimer
Welcome Hstulips to Friends of the Mountain Dulcimer. So glad you joined. This is a great family of wonderful people who love the mountain dulcimer. There some other members here from Canada.
