Mark plays the crooked fiddle tune "Old Christmas," learned from Tom Carter of the Deseret String Band back in the early 70s. Dulcimer tuned D-A-D. Tablature available at www.mark-o.com.
Here's a great seasonal tune I learned a zillion years ago under the name "Old Christmas." Last January I ran into Tom Sauber at the Old Time Gathering in Portland and asked him about the tune. Turns out the Deserets & yers truly had the name wrong. The tune comes from Oklahoma fiddler Uncle Dick Hutchinson and he called it "Christmas Eve."
Wow Mark that was great! I like the way your fingers danced along the fretboard.
That's really nice playing Mark
Thanks for the Christmas tune, Mark.
Great tune, I really enjoyed it.
That was great!
Nicely done!
