"Dynamic Dulcimer" is one of two instructional tapes I made for Lark in the Morning in 1986. I demonstrate a number of advanced dulcimer techniques such as cross tuning, flat picking, finger picking and more. I also play a French eppinette, Hungarian citera & Swedish hummel and demo European tunes. I don't have tab, sorry.
Tunes include "Old French," "Growling Old Man & Grumbling Old Woman, " "Another Jig Will Do," "Boatman Dance," "Cold Frosty Morning," "Turlututu," and many more.

Mark, your timing in posting this video was perfect, since I just got a new epinette and hummel!
Thanks for the nice words. I took a look at your hummel--beautiful! Interesting that it is chromatic. The epinette I used in the vid belonged to someone else, and frankly it was a dog. I'd love to pick up a good one some time. Any hints appreciated.
Write me if you want any French music; I play vielle and have piles of it.
This is wonderful, Mark. Thanks for sharing this with us. I can't wait to get started trying to learn some of these tunes.

Very nice, thanks
This is really a great video...........thanks for not only doing, but posting it as well. (BTW, that is a great shirt....still have one like it.)
I just discovered a bootleg of this online; hadn't seen it in 30 years. So naturally I bootlegged the bootleg so y'all could see it too.
If anyone has a copy of the companion video, "Beginning Appalachian Dulcimer," I'd love to get that up online, too.
Stay tuned!
